After Days of Being Serious I Need To Post This
Go here for Historiann's report on this year's Little Berks. As everyone has inferred, I missed the Little Berks -- one of my favorite annual events -- for the Policy History Conference. In Historiann's honor, even though she came east without telling me, ahem, I am posting a video from Garfunkel and Oates, the girl version of the Smothers Brothers.

Um, may we infer from this that our beloved Historiann has cause to be smug? Do tell, TR! Inquiring minds want to know all!
I first encountered these two over at Historiann's place, and immediately found everything else I could. This one is still my favorite, though.
I just have to be careful who I share it with.
Roxie: although Historiann is not yet spayed, I have no indication that her litter is increasing. But I did meet this pair first at Historiann.

Heh. I did so tell you I was coming East! I asked you if you would be at the Little B's because I was going to be there for the first time in 4 years! I was and you weren't. Bummer for me! But you were mentioned frequently and with great affection and loyalty by several Berks goers.
Roxie: I am NOT pregnant, although I am very, very smug. (I'm smug about not being pregnant, of course. Did you ever see Romy & Michelle's High School Reunion, in which one of the title characters said to a pregnant classmate, "well, at least *I* didn't get fat!?) But of course, I'm too old now to get pregnant. (I practically heard a fly buzz as I died, you know, so I thought of you a lot, Roxie.)
I find it hi-larious that my word verification is "bledisre," which you may take as further proof of my non-pregnancy. But, I loves me my Garfunkel and Oates! Thanks, TR! Talk soon, if you wanna.
Do you mean that if you'd known that Historiann and I would be at the Little Berks you would have been at the Little B? You were missed.
